Every number here is derived from on-chain state and can be re-checked by anyone. The protocol takes 1% of each sale. The founder's share of that fee shrinks as lifetime volume grows; the charity share never touches the founder wallet, it moves straight from escrow at settlement.

Fee split: founder vs charity

The total fee is fixed at 100 bps, split evenly between founder and charity. The founder take is capped at 150,000 USDC per year (inflation-indexed). Once that line is reached, the founder's entire share flows to charity for the rest of the year. A real dollar cap, not a rate that just shrinks.

The founder goal, shared across every Kitsune product

Why this goal exists →

The founder take is aimed at one fixed line: $150,000 a year post-tax, indexed to projected inflation (2.7%). Enough to raise a family. That is the whole justification. Every Kitsune product reports against the same line (machine-readable at /goal.json). On top of the on-chain charity split, 10% of all founder revenue is set aside for college funds for siblings, cousins, and best friends' kids.

Carbon ledger

10% of the charity share funds permanent removal

Solana settles at well under a gram of CO2 per transaction and our validator draws about 20 watts, so the footprint is small and measurable. We carve part of the charity share to permanent carbon removal until removal covers 100x our lifetime emissions, then the rate steps down and the freed share returns to the charities. Both numbers below come from chain state.
